Announcing the 1,000 Paintings Art Challenge—a challenge to me and to you!

Here’s MY challenge: I will paint one thousand original paintings based on captions you supply—for $100 each!

Here’s YOUR three-part challenge:

PART ONE: Think of the people you know, including yourself, who would love the gift of a Craig Downs original. Have a new baby in the family? An anniversary approaching? A friend who’s feeling blue? A birthday, a wedding or a baby shower coming up?

PART TWO: For each painting you order, you must write a Caption no more than seven words long. Using only this Caption, I will create your personalized work of art. Use your imagination…and I will, too.

PART THREE: When your painting(s) have been delivered, send us a photograph of the recipient with the painting. After all 1,000 paintings are in the possession of their new owners, we will have a grand art show featuring all the photos we have received! Location TBA.

CAPTIONS

Up to seven words long. (See the example paintings and their sample Captions for inspiration.)

THE PAINTINGS

All paintings are 8″x 10″. You can expect your painting to be on its way to you 6-8 weeks after I receive your order. Paintings in the 1,000 Painting Art Challenge will be signed and numbered in series in the order payment is received starting April 12, 2017.

HOW TO ORDER

Use the blue Shop Now button on the Craig Downs Color Your World Facebook page, or go to Paypal and use [email protected] as recipient. Send $110 for each painting you order, which includes shipping in continental U.S. See shipping details below.

In the Paypal “Add Note” section below your payment, enter a Caption for each painting you order.

SHIPPING

There is a flat fee of $10 per painting to cover shipping and handling inside the continental U.S. For expedited shipping or shipping outside the continental U.S., please contact us at [email protected] with your details.

RULES OF THE GAME

Do not send photos for the artist to copy. All subject matter is subject to the artist’s discretion.
