I can’t tell you how delicious these bagels are – crispy and flavorful and probably the best bagels I’ve ever had, and that’s a big claim coming from an east coaster. I cut & freeze my bagels after I get them, pop them into the toaster and they taste like the day they were made. Definitely recommended and worth it!!!

My favorite flavors are everything & cinnamon sugar, but the plain sourdough is a must-try too just to appreciate how good his basic base bagel really is. Chris is super communicative & friendly too, so that’s a huge plus. Be warned, his bagels are addictive 🙂

Born and raised in New York I love that I moved to Mexico and found the best bagels – crisp in the outside, chewy texture inside and absolutely hand rolled, boiled and baked to perfection. I love the everything, and cinnamon sugar and for my kids birthday he even made a batch of M&M bagels! Whether you are slathering it with butter, cream cheese or making a sandwich (you can’t go wrong with a bacon, egg and cheese bagel) you will be delighted with Chris’s bagels.

Real cream cheese, and homemade mixes as well… I’ve lived in the tropics for over a decade and a half, and have never found anybody to do bagels correct until now!, These are the real deal. Whether you’re here just for a quick visit or this is home, NY Bagels should go on the top of your list for local fare. The flavor options are amazing and the bake is perfect: if you have any knowledge of what an actual NYC bagel tastes like, you will be shocked to find this taste in Mexico. If you aren’t familiar, you’ll be impressed none the less. These are not standard dog sh-t Costco bagels or the “bread bagels” at the local restaurants that cost 90-120 pesos and taste nothing like an actual bagel; these are the real thing. Completely local, artisan, and inexpensive… The way it used to be with most things here. Treat yourself asap!!!

Sometimes here in Mexico, we can miss certain aspects of “back home”, and having a wonderful selection of fresh NY bagels baked locally.. so grateful!

Hands down, a major MUST-HAVE TREAT in Sayulita. Fresh, warm bagels that rival (possibly surpass) those in the US (specifically NY). And Chris is the nicest guy too!
