Top Picks for Breakfast

Here you will find a list of our favorite and most highly recommended restaurants for dinner. These are the restuarants we have found that offer the best food, service, atmosphere and cleanliness. Please keep in mind, hours change so confirm with them direct.

BISTRO ORGANICO AT HOTEL CIELO ROJO (photo above) – Weds thru Mon, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, Dinner – Thurs thru Sun, 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm (December thru June)

Truly organic vegetarian and pescatarian food with a great courtyard atmosphere. My favorites are the breakfast toscano sandwich and the avocado toast. For lunch you must try the beet burger and the shrimp burger! We love their espresso coffee and fresh coconut water as well! They don’t use seed oil!

Located at Calle Asia 6 – inside Hotel Cielo Rojo – Tel. +52 311 258 4155

CAFÉ FLORESTA AT HOTEL MARII – Mon thru Weds; 8 am to 2 pm Thurs thru Sun 8 am to 8 pm

Very unique menu in such a lovely setting! Flavorful breakfast and lunch and open some days for dinner (depending on their schedule) They use produce from the local organic purveyors and the entire menu has a very healthy feel. The coffee and Kombucha is incredible and if you like eggs benedict you will be stoked! They don’t use seed oil!

Located at Calle Pakistán 10 inside Hotel Marii – Tel. +52 311 258 4155

DOUGH JOE – Thurs thru Tues 8 am to 2 pm, Sunday 9 am to 3 pm – Closed Weds

Classic American, diner style food with a creative local twist! Incredible and delicious homemade donuts. We love their breakfast sandwiches and country style breakfast options, which they create from scratch. They also have the best chocolate chip cookies in town, IMO! Vegetarian Friendly as well. They don’t use seed oil!

Located at Avenida Tercer mundo 9 – Tel. +52 322 382 9127

SAN PAN – Open daily

Great breakfast option close to the beach. Good omelette and coffee. They don’t use seed oil!

Located at Ave. Tercer Mundo close to the beach

Provecho (Enjoy)! New restaurants open often and there are plenty of other curbside taco stands open in the evenings. Please note that their hours of business change throughout the season so you may want to call to check their schedules. Please say “hola” from San Pancho Life!

Don’t forget Maria’s for breakfast. They have a very nice fruit plate with yogurt and granola. Good smoothies as well.
