The professional, attentive staff make your experience even more relaxing as they provide gourmet meals for you if you so desire, or, you can make your way down the villa’s stairway for a brief 5-minute walk to the La Patrona Beach Club, where one can enjoy the large beachside pool with full restaurant.
Stairs meander through lavish tropical flora creating pathways to the many private nook ending on the sculptured ocean view infinity pool which is surrounded by padded lounges and chairs. Five masterly designed en-suite bedrooms, each nestled in their own private area afford the best in luxury and seclusion. The expansive living room adjoins a tropical outdoor dining room overlooking the pool. Located on the same level is the kitchen, dining room, outdoor gas barbecue and a wet bar including a refrigerator and ice-maker. Another unique feature of this property is the multitude of quiet alcoves.
Located on the top of the hillside, Casa Cascada affords magnificent ocean views throughout, however, a quick 2 minute walk will take you to the main San Pancho beach, just 200 yards away. June 21, 2023 at 4:42 pmCompletely gorgeous views and design – the outdoor kitchen and living space were highlights. The villa is located a 2-minute walk from the beach, but with an infinity pool, you don’t even have to leave to sunbathe. 10/10 stay!

Super close to the beach—slept peacefully to the sound of the waves crashing nearby. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hope to return!!

As a designer, I truly appreciated the beauty, but also the cleanliness and amenities that came along with it. The service was top notch and we had a delicious meal cooked at home as we watched the sunset. San Pancho is a very special place, and I plan on coming back very soon!

Every corner is adorned with carefully curated antiques from different regions of Mexico, each telling a story of its own. The five rooms at Casa Cascada each offer a unique perspective of the beautiful surroundings, with breathtaking views of the ocean and the surrounding hills. Undoubtedly, the pool was a highlight of our stay and gave us a welcome respite from the hottest hours of the day. We spent countless hours here, bonding with our family and watching our children playing. The location of Casa Cascada couldn’t be more ideal. An easy 15-minute stroll brought us to the heart of downtown San Pancho, where you can find cafés and restaurants for all tastes. The local scene was vibrant, offering a taste of different Mexican flavors and culture. Enrique and Marcela were great hosts. They cooked for us and it was special because we also got to enjoy the fantastic view from the house terrace. They also helped us in navigating the town and added a personal touch that made us feel like we were staying with friends. The proximity to the beach was another bonus. A short walk led us to the beach shoreline, where we played with the waves and witnessed some spectacular sunsets every afternoon. In conclusion, Casa Cascada is not just a place to stay; it’s a destination that embodies the spirit of la Riviera de Nayarit. Its charm, character, and the genuine hospitality of the hosts make it an exceptional choice for anyone seeking a truly special retreat. The pool is the gem of the house and its right up the street from tierra tropical beach club. If we come back to san poncho- we will stay here no questions asked. Enrique also was so incredibly quick to help with anything we needed.

There is a gorgeous view from the open-air living space of both the pool and the beach, perfect to watch the sunset, and it’s only a two minute walk if you’d rather be on the beach itself. We came during turtle season and were lucky enough to witness some baby turtles make their first journey into the sea 🐢 There is a great cocktail bar down the street (La Baba del Diablo) and the town of San Pancho is so fun – definitely recommend the Dough Joe for a great brunch! You can easily access plenty of activities (horseback riding, surfing, shopping in Sayulita, beaches, the city of Puerto Vallarta) from the house as well, all in an hour or less! Would definitely come back 😍
