Description
La Casa Ortalis & Casita is a picturesque and unique villa located behind a private, gated driveway on the north-end bluff over looking the San Pancho beach. Upon entering the main home on the second level, one will be encompassed in the open air palapa covered living room and dining area, all leading out to the infinity pool terrace. Throughout the entire level you can enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and beach below!
The entrance level also consists of a fully enclosed kitchen and an enclosed den with two single beds that includes additional sleeping options and full bathroom. On the far west end sits the incredible master king, en-suite bedroom with an ocean view terrace and views that make one feel as though they are floating on the ocean. On the far east end is the guest, en-suite king bedroom with a jungle and ocean view terrace. Stairs lead down below to the en-suite queen bedroom with a private jungle terrace. All bedrooms host A/C, an elegant open air shower, full bathroom and ceiling fans.
Behind the home, a stone pathway leads you to the most recent edition, an incredible, ocean view, two-story detached casita hosting an en-suite king bedroom below with an open air palapa resting area up top.
La Casa Ortalis & Casita is nestled on a bluff directly over the Pacific Ocean on the edge of the tropical forest providing every view with a scene of life and beauty. The seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces allows you to fully embrace the warmth and beauty of this very special location!
This home is also available to rent as a three bedroom home without the casita as La Casa Ortalis.

January 16, 2024 at 5:11 pmWe were 8 adults, stayed 9 nights enjoying 8 spectacular sunsets (it clouded over briefly on the 5th night) The house had everything we required. It’s a bit of steep walk up the driveway (we often used a taxi to return from town) but you are rewarded with a jaw dropping view and excellent pool, patio and lounge area. The kitchen had all we needed to cook our own gourmet meals, sourced from the local shops. Service from Eva and Sylvestre was top notch including one excellent dinner. 3 of the 4 ensuite rooms also have fabulous views. The 4th while lacking the view is perfectly comfortable.

The housekeeper and groundskeeper were amazing (Eva and Silvestre) and the meals they prepared were awesome. Great communication with the rental company. If you stay here though, beware there is a steep hill to walk up so consider a golf cart or expect to get some exercise! 🙂

January 23, 2025 at 11:55 pmWe just spent a week over New Year’s at Casa Ortalis! It was just spectacular! The views were amazing and the layout was just perfect for our extended family. We really enjoyed the pool and all the outdoor living spaces! Needless to say, service from Eva and Sylvestre was greatly appreciated too. We had a car which we felt was very convenient. We didn’t need to contact Allison at San Pancho Rentals since everything was perfect but we’ve been renting from her for 9 years now and we know she is always there if we need her. We are already looking forward to next year! Thanks Allison and all at San Pancho Realty!
